Who Am I?

Hello everyone, my name is Cristóbal Ignacio. I am from Puerto Aysén, Chile, and I am 20 years old. 

I am a sociology student at the University of Chile. I live with my mom, dad, sister and nephew. About me, well, I was born in August 2001, I like doing sports, climbing, calisthenics, mountaineering, in short, I like outdoor activities. 



I play the guitar, I like rock music, blues, metal and tech house. 

I have two dogs, one 8 years old and the other 4 months old. 


I am in Aysén and I have not had the opportunity to meet my faculty in two years, I hope to be able to do so soon.

Hello, this time I will talk about how my career can help the world to be a better place. First of all, I think it is essential to have a notion, idea or definition of what it means to make the world a "better" place. Better for whom? According to what parameters? Who are we going to lead in this task? I believe that sociology prepares you as a professional to face such questions, and therefore I believe that it can be an important tool to change the world (trying to make it a change for the better). Personally, I see myself intervening at the local, population level, in my region, in Aysén, with projects that guarantee a paradigm shift in people's actions. The broad conceptual baggage that is acquired from sociology and the tools to create new concepts, together with the impact on everyday life situations in various contexts is the greatest virtue of sociology. A meal or food you really like.

My favorite food is the lasagna.  Lasagna is a dish that can be prepared with the ingredients that one prefers. In my case, I like to prepare it with tomato, soy, tomato sauce, cheese and spices. That's the filler. To prepare the filling, the first thing is to hydrate the soybeans. Then cut the tomato. Once the soy is hydrated, you should cook it in a pan with a little oil, wait a moment and add the tomato, hopefully with its juice. At that time you should season to taste. Finally, add the amount you want of tomato sauce. To cook pasta, you usually have to cook it in boiled water. To prepare the dish, first you have to place a pasta base, then the filling, and on top of the filling place cheese and so on. The result must be placed in an oven and wait for it to finish cooking. I like it because it's easy to cook, it tastes good, and it's inexpensive. Regarding health, it has a high contribution in proteins, carbohydrates and fiber, and a little in fat. It helps...

Post 6: English Language Challenges.

Hello bloggers, I must say that the course was not very pleasant for me, mainly because the base of my English is not very good, added to the fact that I moved from the city and it was difficult for me to follow the course. However, it is something I am bound to go through sooner or later. Regarding the use of blogs, I find it hard to understand how it turns out to be something educational and stimulating for learning the English language. I can get the idea, but I also think that there may be more stimulating, didactic and intensive ways of learning to use words. The most difficult aspect of the English language for me is, in general, to communicate something. I am able to understand better what they say or write to me than doing it in front of another person. Although I'm not saying I'm very good at understanding, I'm worse at expressing.
